Vitamins & FS have always been treated by Revenue as “food” and sold with 0% VAT. This has been the unchallenged practice for over 40ys. There is no EU impediment for this practice to continue. Min. Noonan legislating for 0% on herbal teas in 2014 demonstrates this. #stopthisvat.
