I got two #DEC BA356 #StorageWorks shelves quite cheaply. All 11 hard drives work, which is rare for second-hand purchases, and I also got some extras for free, in particular 7 x 3.5" StorageWorks Building Blocks (SBB).

I've got a disk shelf for the Compaq hard drives now, I will test each individual hard drive extensively before I carry on using them. 10 of the hard drives that are currently in the disk shelf will later be moved to the #HP #StorageWorks MSA1000.
The second cache module has arrived and been installed in the #HP #StorageWorks MSA1000. The redundancy support is now working, only the hard drives are still missing.
