Dear Astoshiates. Everything that drew us to crypto seems increasingly distant. Crypto started as so much more than just technology or markets; it was the potential for meaningful disruption. In the early days, Crypto felt like a modern crusade, not for some holy land but for our freedom. It was just an idea but so powerful because it got stronger and stronger with every step down the rabbit hole you took. It had a profoundly important impact on our lives. It felt like we had met thousands of brothers and sisters who were all living with the same frustrations. It was knowing we werent the only ones who could see the matrix for what it was. And it was more than a feeling because we were taking action. We felt a sense of deep purpose and until recently we felt like we were on a collective mission to dismantle intermediaries and build a fairer, decentralized world all while making crazy multiples in our net worth. We always knew retail was coming and with it the good, the bad and the ugly but we cant help but feel this change has also diluted cryptos spirit. What dominates mindshare and capital now are countless altcoins, vaporware, hollow memes, grift-driven celebrity tokens, and AI chatbot “plug-ins” masquerading as innovation. The mission seems dead, Instead of progress and freedom, crypto now serves only to line the pockets of opportunistic KOLs, draining every drop of liquidity out of our system. Stoshi was born as a result of the original cypherpunk manifesto, the Satoshi paper and inspired by people like Gavin Andreson, Hal Finney, Vitalik Buterin, Marc Andressen, Adam Back, Andreas Antonopoulis, Jamieson Lopp, Cobie, Erik Voorhees, John Mcafee, George Carlin, Roger Ver and Joe Rogan, who without we never wouldve even heard of crypto. But he is also born in response to this changing landscape. We’re not here to sheep into changing trends but to bring focus back to the ethos that made crypto transformative: disintermediation, empowerment, freedom, financial gain and experimentation and innovation. It’s not about hype, moon or chasing liquidity, it’s about attracting it through substance and vision. What inspired us originally was a belief in decentralization as more than just a buzzword. It was about removing single points of failure, breaking free from traditional gatekeepers, and building a world where trust was established through code, not enforced on us by govt and corporate boot heels. This was the mission that drove the early builders and investors, people who were creating for both profit, and for the love of building and the dream of systemic change, and yea also people that were just sick of the bullshit. We all need a hero sometimes and Stoshi was conceived to be cryptos one and only Super hero not as a product or a marketing play but as a force to realign crypto with its original mission and serve as a retail friendly face acting as a see and eye dog taking people from noob to degenerate. Crypto doesn’t need more noise. It needs meaningful disruption that make us proud. It needs examples of pushing the boundaries and building bridges to places the world has never seen before. We aren’t here to create another short-term narrative or another memecoin grift. Stoshi is here to attract real attention, real liquidity, and real belief by embodying the principles that first defined this space.
