#StrandedPatients on wards can't go home. So those beds are still full. (2) People can't be transferred to that ward from A&E when there's no beds. (3) Patients can't be offloaded from ambulances to A&E, meaning there's no free ambulances for emergencies.
What we need to SCREAM
Why can't people see the REAL reason ambulances are taking 7hrs?
(1) #StrandedPatients on wards can't go home cos there's no Carers due to the #SocialCareCrisis.
(2) Can't put A&E patients in beds on wards cos of the stranded patients.

@MarkRWilsonUK @supertanskiii This is down to Lack of SOCIAL CARE funding. It backwards-chains easily enough. (1) Not enough Carers for #StrandedPatients to be sent home, meaning those beds aren't emptied when they should be.
(2) With no empty beds on wards, patients in A&E can't be admitted to the wards.
