@celly_app @MindaHarts @Latesha_Byrd @DonNeault @KatrinaKibben @Jeff_Baumgarten I’m just trying my best. This summer I was really REALLY blessed to have joined #SummerHackersProgram also so I was really focused on getting my career to a better place.
Thank you so much for believing in me before you even knew who I am. That’s so rare these days
The biggest theme I have from this year is:
What next? What do I do next, what do I try next, where do I go?
@techinclusionco leaves me with that thought so much more than #SummerHackersProgram did.
I started this year really wanting to change my circumstances
I have autism. I went completely non-verbal during my interview.
Like no words. My boss told me about the culture, suggested I check out a bootcamp.
I got the job. A month later I got into @LambdaSchool. She still let me keep the job during #SummerHackersProgram
I’m so excited for @drCBernard1’s talk! @LambdaSchool #SummerHackersProgram gave me space to really be in a position to need this kind of advice. How do I take my career further? How do I utilise great mentors? What pivots do I need to make to get where I need to be?
At @spotify @drCBernard1 works to amplify relationships with US universities, research in AI, ML, and more! At #TechInclusion 2019, she'll cover "Charting Your Career Course Through Mentorship, Sponsorship and the Occasional Pivot".

FINALLY sitting down to write a blog post about my #SummerHackersProgram experience. I'm turning it into a 3 part series, first part out tomorrow morning. Thank you @justsml for creating a space for me to say something that sparked the action to do this.

I think I have my website building routine:
* tarot cards
* blog
* code
I have had this tarot card set for almost 2 years and only started using them after meeting another #SummerHackersProgram member who read my cards.
That was the fastest I've ever made a page.
I feel this so hard. For the #SummerHackersProgram dinner we stayed at a really beautiful AirBNB and now that I’m home I’m outchea DESPERATE to be better. You better believe I have different plans for myself after that weekend.
I will rise this year.
I purposely rented a penthouse in Miami so it could light a fire under my ass when I got home. This is the 2nd day of waking up in my regular ass apartment and I can’t stand it. Imma be in GO mode for a while. I need consistent penthouse views
Juiced!!! Thank You @hireclub for the 15 minute coaching session.
I say that @LambdaSchool changed my life BUT @hireclub really made it possible. I heard about #SummerHackersProgram thru @kidbombay.
Now I can’t wait to see how much I’ve grown compared to 3 months ago.
I had dinner with a bunch of Summer Hackers last night. It made me so happy to see what a huge difference learning to program was making in their lives. This experiment clearly worked! @LambdaSchool #summerhackersprogram https://t.co/DFjDLD5yvd
A local business heard about my involvement with @LambdaSchool’s #SummerHackersProgram and they’re sponsoring my clothing line’s fashion show next year.
The owner said she thought I was talented as a designer but didn’t know I “did more than make art.”

This whole #SummerHackersProgram experience reminds me of Legally Blonde.
Only coding and I’m not blonde. I do have an Elle Woods-esque amount of pink computer items...
😭😭😭
Someone called me wealthy because of my @LambdaSchool #SummerHackersProgram stipend.
Upward mobility makes stagnant people some level of mad I don’t understand.
Lemme enjoy this while it lasts. Maybe if I keep working hard I’ll BE wealthy longer than 3 months.

Study time. I really need to get this CSS/LESS/Flexbox thing before we start JavaScript and there’s only 48 hours in 2 days.

I’ve been tweeting about how these two women from my @LambdaSchool #SummerHackersProgram have seriously kept me going through what’s probably been the craziest time in my life.
