- the Somaliland 'lease' is access to sea is for the future Oromia Republic. Which means, Somali and Afar Regions definitely will see a huge violence in order to connect current land covered by 'Oromo Region' with the 'leased' land in Somaliland. Somaliland can kiss its land goodbye, the recognition it got is almost non-existent as Abiy is driving Ethiopia to a failed state, re: money that is also a sham, cause Ethiopia didn't even pay off the 19% stake it agreed to hold in the newly built port (Unless it passed on Eth's stake to Italy and UAE)
- Eritrea should not relax, the access to the sea that is attained by this lease is for Oromia, the red sea agenda is to destabilize the entire area what they dub is controlled by 'Semitic' forces, and their plan for that is by making Amharas, Tigrayans and Eritreans go against one another in turns. Wait until they find out these labels are just language groups and that Afars actually use Cushitic language but are Semitic in their genealogy. In PP's logic, Kenyans are Anglo-Saxon because they speak English. Eritrea should revamp their air force with updated anit-air missile armament and anti drone units, land incursion is almost impossible for Abiy's regime, but with the new Su-30 they acquired air incursions are possible. (among other things they are good at hitting mobile targets, hence bad for mechanized ground units).
- Sudan and Kenya will definitely be the next to be destabilized by Abiy, using his OLA forces, Al Shabab in the South for Kenya and using GLM, OLA & TPLF Samri for Sudan. We have no guarantee whether he works with Egypt or not, I suspect he is, making it hard to predict the outcome for the region.
