Today, Angelique Bougaard is our first #TLCStudentCollection featured artist.Bougaard is currently pursuing a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Johannesburg, working in a variety of mediums.
Cinthia Binene is today’s first featured artist on the #TLCStudentCollection. Binene is currently specialising in printmaking at Artist Proof Studio where she is completing her third year.
Third year Artist Proof Studio artist Tusevo Landu is our first #TLCStudentCollection feature for today. Tusevo is inspired by printmaking techniques, drawings and mixed media. He has contributed his work “Covid19 Olympics” to the portfolio.
Today we feature second year Artist Proof Studio student and aspiring printmaker Lungile Mbelle as our second #TLCStudentCollection artist. Mbelle has contributed his work “Conversations with Myself” to the #TLCStudentCollection.
Sowetan born Keneiloe-Mpho Mazibuko is today’s first #TLCStudentCollection featured artists. Mazibuko draws inspiration from her surroundings and the people she interacts with to create beautiful pieces that tell the stories of her life experiences.
First Year Artist Proof Studio artist Jason Langa is today’s second featured #TLCSTudentCollection artist. Langa has contributed his work “Umbila”, which means “Mielies” in IsiZulu.
Our first featured artist for today is Artist Proof Studio Graduate Khosi Kunene. Kunene has chosen to share her work titled “19” with the #TLCStudentCollection.
#TheLockdownCollection is proud to launch the #TLCStudentCollection featuring works by student artists from Artist Proof Studio and The University of Johannesburg.These works,created during our nationwide lockdown are a representation of this incredibly difficult time in history.
