Excellent update from Dr Maria Ansbro from @BucksNewUni & Reader Wendy Fitzgibbon from @UniWestminster about their work on the Sex Offenders Register which @ThamesVP are contributing to #TVPResearch
Next up at the @ThamesVP #TVPResearch conference is one of our @JOU_ArmedPolice officers discussing their research on counter terrorism specialist firearms officers conducted as part of a masters at @portsmouthuni. An article will appear in the next edition of the TVP journal.
Now hearing from @lewis_mayling & Nick Portnall from @TV_VRU discussing their work on #hotspot policing through an RCT concentrating on serious violence in force. Really exciting potential here, particularly in the VAWG public place safety arena. #TVPResearch

Today I’ve said congratulations & goodbye to one of my SOCU DI’s off to @TVP_Aylesbury on promotion to DCI, followed by a @WeCops Christmas planning session for this Weds & setting the agenda for the @ThamesVP #TVPresearch conference in 2021. So much good research in force!
