Today in the Texas Senate, I had the honor of recognizing February 26, 2025, as @ACSCANTexas Day at the Capitol. This resolution honors the American Cancer Society’s decades of lifesaving research, funding, and critical support for Texans battling cancer.
Cancer impacts countless families across our state, and the American Cancer Society has been a vital partner in the fight against this disease. Their work ensures that no Texan faces cancer alone, providing essential resources, programs, and a strong network of support.
This recognition serves as a reminder that we must continue working together to expand access to care, advance research, and strengthen support for those affected by cancer. I am grateful for the dedication of the advocates, survivors, and healthcare professionals who make a difference every day!
