Spending a few days in Liverpool after #TaLC2024 . Brilliant conference, efficiently organized. My highlight of the final day was @beiting_zheng talking about the difficulties of teaching lexical bundles in Chinese middle schools, where you *have to* stick to the textbook!
So much happening over the past two days. First, I had the honor of chairing four sessions at #TaLC2024 related to AI. Then, I had the pleasure of co-presenting a paper with @natalie_eloise on our @MLProfiler tool, now including a new cognates feature. #TaLC2024 was so much fun!
Had a great time at #TaLC2024. Looking forward to welcoming colleagues and friends to #BAALVocab24 in Leeds very soon!
