One woman still being held in Lebanon is Mrs. "Rola Hassan Suleiman," 35, kidnapped in #Rabiah in the #Hama countryside on May 18, 2026, and taken across the border. Syria's General Security militias covered up her kidnapping in their official report, even after being given evidence, including threats sent by the kidnappers from her own Facebook account. Instead of acting on it, General Security officials threatened her relatives to keep them from speaking out.
Another kidnapped woman, Abeer Suleiman, was taken last year from the #Safita countryside in #Tartus province. Available information indicates Islamists smuggled her across the border near Tal Kalakh into Lebanon.
So when will Lebanese security forces finally take responsibility for freeing women being tortured and raped on their territory?

Armed gunmen forced their way into the home of Sami Malik al-Ali in the village of Khirbat al-Ashari, near Tabbat Hanna in the Talkalakh area in w. Homs, and shot him dead on the spot. The incident took place yesterday, May 1, 2026.
The victim was a bus driver and a member of the Alawite community.

📍 The attack resulted in 9 injuries of varying severity among young men in their twenties.

Homs province: Young man Haitham Abdulaziz Yousef was killed after being shot by members of a checkpoint belonging to the HTS-led “General Security” terrorist militias in rural Talkalakh, near the village of al-Mashrefa. He was targeted because of his Alawite sectarian identity.

The criminal “de facto authority” continues targeting civilians:
Young man Haitham Abdul Aziz Youssef, from Tabbah Hanna – rural Talkalakh, was executed at the Mashrafat Al-Mastoura checkpoint.
He was insulted, his sect openly cursed simply for being Alawite, then shot in the head and legs in cold blood.
This reflects a systematic policy against Alawites: killing, displacement, abduction, and starvation— all without accountability.
The so-called “de facto authority” has turned into a sectarian militia persecuting civilians instead of protecting them.

•Syrian Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of Brigadier General Riyad Hamdo al-Shahadeh in #Talkalakh, Homs province.
