I am thinking about something called #TapeAPI. If DeWEB enables decentralized websites and TapeSend facilitates communication between people, then TapeAPI could allow websites to interact with one another without relying on a central server. You can think of TapeAPI like this: Today, most websites need to connect to a server/backend owned by a company to get data or perform certain functions. For example: Website → Server → Get BEM price Website → Server → Process AI Website → Server → Store game data The idea behind TapeAPI is to turn these services into services with their own addresses on TapeOut. For example: price.tape → provides price data ai.tape → provides AI services game.tape → handles game data payment.tape → handles payments A DeWEB website could simply call whichever service it needs. A simple example Imagine you build a game on DeWEB. Your game needs a translation feature. Instead of building your own server: Game → Your Server → Translation API it could be: Game → TapeAPI → Translation The API provider could receive BEM as payment, while users only pay when they actually use the service. This could create a decentralized marketplace for services: Developer A builds an AI service Developer B builds translation Developer C provides data Developer D provides payments Other applications can use these services without having to build everything from scratch. What I find interesting is: DeWEB = Websites TapeSend = Communication TapeAPI = Services Together, they could become another piece of the infrastructure for a decentralized Internet. This is just an idea I’m proposing #Tapeout $BEM
