BREAKING: 3 deans have been placed on "indefinite leave" from Columbia University, after antisemitic text messages from their group chat were released last week.
This may not "solve" antisemitism in higher ed, but it does send an important message: actions have consequences.

El escándalo del #textgate de Columbia, donde se descubrió a cuatro DECANOS (“deans”) intercambiando mensajes antisemitas mientras asistían a una charla contra el antisemitismo es monumental.
Pero peor aún es la reacción de la universidad, que podría alegar que los mensajes se dieron en el chat privado de WhatsApp de los decanos, que se hizo público, pues alguien le hizo las fotos desde la fila de atrás a sus celulares, y que por tanto, se mantenía la privacidad de los decanos y no se daba por enterado oficialmente,
Pero en lugar de eso, decide suspender a través de los cuatro decanos, pero no sacarles de la universidad ni eliminarle su salario.
