I struggle with addiction everyday of my life and there's a lot of people that believe that it's choice but addiction is a disease and can also be hereditary. A friend reminded me of my own struggles because I often go into liquor stores to look at the alcohol and I still crave pain pills because it gives me that feeling of happiness. Sometimes I would get a high from stealing and doing bad things but it's something I don't do anymore because anything can be used as a drug with addiction. I don't do a 12-step program but I salute anyone that's deals with addiction because it's very hard and I've lost most of my family members due to it and my best friend Jennifer🙏 This is just a post Not anything to reply on But for people to know that there's always others out there because you're never alone. Never let anybody tell you that you're worthless because you have addiction it's not a mental illness.
