I think I've found a way to raise the suspense level in #TheDevilsMark even more: Villagers are allowed to make offerings w/o having to disclose who it is for - the worshipped one(s) or the devil. Towards the end, you get to use a ritual to aid the village. BUT:
Since I've picked up work on #TheDevilsMark again, which would you like better: Being able to play the devil as a minor character - or having the devil stay in the background as an ominous force, only to be played during temptation scenes? #ttrpg
