매주 수요일에 업데이트가 되고 있습니다.

[12월1일 연준의 양적축소(QT) 공식 종료]
연준의 총자산 FRED 그래프(2025년 1월~11월 26일)는 순수하게 QT(양적긴축) 때문에 내려간 것 입니다.
2025년에는 금리 인하는 있었지만 금리 인하 자체는 대차대조표 크기를 줄이지 않고 QE(양적완화)는 전혀 없었으며 오직 QT만 돌고 있었기 때문에 (국채 월 50억 + MBS 월 최대 350억 자연 만기분 재투자 안 함)
연준의 총자산은 계속 축소되었었죠!!
그래서 이 그래프에서 보이는 깔끔한 우하향 곡선 = 100% QT 효과라고 보시면 됩니다.
그럼 QT 종료 후 어떻게 될까요? (12월 1일부터)
연준이 10월 FOMC에서 결정한 대로
2025년 12월 1일부터 국채 만기분도 다시 전액 재투자하기 시작합니다.
따라서 12월 중순~말에 발표되는 WALCL 수치부터는 하락이 멈추고 거의 수평이 될 것으로 예상되네요!!
만약 만기분 재투자 + 신규 발행분 일부 매입 가능성까지 고려하면 아주 완만한 상승으로 돌아설 수도 있고요!!
이제 유동성이 공급될 가능성이 높아지겠네요!!

#TotalAssets have started to increase again in the last week. offsetting the downward trend that started almost a year ago.
What does this mean? The Wealth Effect is still running strong, and we aren't seeing the downward spiral effect from falling mortgage prices and Investments.

Increase in balance for previous week, yet trend so far continues downwards. Next week if it increases and doesnt run flat or decrease, trend could break, slightly.
Still, remains quite off the highs.

The FED's #TotalAssets has printed two flat weeks, we have not seen a slowdown like this since Jan 2020, pre covid emergency.
Again the sines are not paths to be followed there are limits I'm using to track trajectory. (see prev post)

Looks like the FED's #TotalAssets is beginning to flatten, you can use dashed sine to compare trajectory (not destination) and we can see a slow down.
Most recently it printed a flat tick. We haven't seen a flat tick in a long time. Watch carefully.
