This realization propelled us to pour extensive effort into constructing the foundational infrastructure—the REAL infrastructure. We have developed Trias Layer ‘-1’ to establish a web-of-trust among decentralized computing/storage nodes, ensuring the integrity of their software stacks, and thus reducing the reliance on centralized cloud infrastructure providers. Leviatom serves as Layer 0, a Decentralized Function-as-a-Service (dFaaS) platform. This enables micro-services to be deployed and hosted on decentralized nodes while building consensus on their operational accuracy, reducing dependence on centralized cloud software providers. Moreover, Divina is being crafted to facilitate the decentralized building of Web 2.0 application’s source codes to decentralized micro-services that can be published on Leviatom, thereby eliminating the need for trust in centralized software builders and distributors. Additionally, Triathon is in development as a decentralized testing/launching platform for smart contracts and Web 2.0 micro-services, reducing reliance on centralized auditing or software security services. As these multi-layered components integrate into our mainnet, our Layer 1, the NetX Chain, will boast a significant capability: the ability to launch, manage, and operate any Web 2.0 application in a bottom-up fully decentralized manner. Looking ahead, I envision a future where the majority of current Web 2.0 applications, including those by industry giants like Google, Facebook, X and others, can seamlessly operate on an infrastructure of this nature. Every aspect—computing, data, software, and services—will be held by fully decentralized communities, with revenues shared among these communities. This, to me, epitomizes the infrastructure of Web 3.0: backward-compatible yet markedly advanced. Furthermore, I firmly believe that only such an infrastructure can catalyze the emergence of Trustworthy and Reliable Intelligent Autonomous Systems—an exciting prospect that warrants further discussion later. While the road ahead is undoubtedly long, our journey has just begun.
