Just spent about an hour talking to a gay guy on a bench in the sun about The Trans / Queer Stuff. He spotted me and said hello. Quite clued up and down to earth. “I used to dress up and go out in heels just to get some milk but that was all just gender bending, but I never said I wasn’t a man. It was about making ‘man’ more expansive!” “How can they say social contagion has nothing to do with it with all this social media? Punk went national went all we had were transistor radios!” “What is ‘queer’ anyway nowadays? And these women on T? They just look like women with beards. They think they’re revolutionary but it’s more PT Barnum” (The Greatest Showman reference - I had to check with him 😆) “I feel like I’m in an episode of Sliders where I’ve woken up in an alternative reality where everything that’s absurd comes true” He asked: “They’re always on about marginalised communities but why don’t Diva Magazine or Stonewall talk about detransitioners?
