Not only that but every bit of a nuclear power plant becomes #waste as well - #transuranics that last forever, activation products of all kinds, broken bits of #uranium with biological significance - saying it is green is a lie. It has been #fraudulent from its inception.

Nuclear is NOT green. It requires dirty extraction - just like coal & gas. Mining, construction, decommissioning & waste storage mean massive CO2 pollution. Nuclear's toxic radioactive waste is so dangerous it must be entombed & guarded for 100s of yrs. https://t.co/6R17qATbTB

We've got new chemistry to share! Scott has a @ChemCommun article out featuring some TRU elements from his time at @LosAlamosNatLab the past two summers! #transuranics #fblock #RealTimeChem https://t.co/IgXUipT8B7
