The second (and only other) occurrence of the plene spelling is at 33:8.
The Lord says: "I will forgive them ALL (לכול) their iniquities which they sinned against me"
I will forgive them AAAAALLLLLLLLLLL their iniquities

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in, and admiration for, the manuscript below. I've done a little digging about the manuscript. You can read all about it on my blog by following the link in my X bio.
Alternatively, the TLDR is in the snippet below!

If you'd like to read more, google:
"The Masoretic Notes in RNL EVR II B 80+: An Initial Report"
and you find an article I wrote on the manuscript a few years ago which will explain more =)

@drtonywatkins If you mean "have you made up that kind of thing in other places", then yes, loads! Some of which are here on X. Perhaps search #treasurethetext
(I generally see it as imposing a mnemonic on the text, rather than discovering an intended design feature. Though in a few cases...)
Thank you, Ellie, for setting such a super example of treasuring the text!

One thing I enjoy about working in the #Geniza: the huge number of Bible fragments written for personal use.
Like this pocket #Psalter.
Not written by a professional.
Just a regular person who loved the #Scriptures and wanted to pray the #Psalms

'The rod of wickedness will not rest on the lot of the righteous' puts me in mind of Peter's speech in Acts 2:24: 'God raised up #Jesus - it was impossible for the pangs of death to hold Him'
i.e. the rod struck (#GoodFriday) but couldn't settle (#Easter Day).

#Introduction
Vv.1-5
The first letters spell:
הם אזלֻ
"They went away",
which seems apt, given that they theme of the #Psalm is how we turned away, repeatedly, from the Lord.

Francie at Tyndale has done a super job here: so helpful to have real images of what is being described, rather than just the text of the original article.
And great voiceover work, too.
3.5 mins well spent, methinks.
Thanks Francie!

The book of Exodus tells us that the Israelites were slaves in Egypt. But does this match up with what we know of Egypt from outside the Bible?

When the Sefer Torah is taken out, the leader of the service bursts out with "Magnify the Lord with me - let us exalt His name together!" (from Psalm 34).
What a wonderful truth to celebrate: the Creator has communicated with His Creatures!

How wonderful that the Lord can bring together profound truth and beauty in these Psalms!

If you take the first letters of each verse of #Psalm113, you get a very similar sentence:
"הים רמה מלם"
"Into the sea He hurled [them], and cut them off"
[btw: 'he cut them off' comes 3 times in Scripture, all in... Psalm 118]

Just finished memorising #Psalm 84.
What a stunner 😍

Each part: 4 verses
Mnemonic summary for each part:
1. Homesick
2. Homeward bound
3. Home is where He is.
Thank you, Lord
