Hold on, lemme explain what is Tunku again. Tunku is a Kadokawa's BL programming label. (Kadokawa is a publishing conglomerate). Drama Shower is programming block on MBS (a Japanese TV station) on Thursday midnight. The programming block was a collaboration between MBS and Tunku to broadcast BL drama series produced by Tunku. Together we often called it Tunku Shower in short. Tunku Shower was originally planned for 1 year but got extended to a second year, running from Apr'22 to Apr'24, producing 11 titles. Then Tunku ceased its activity and Drama Shower on MBS was replaced by Drama Phil (airing both het and queer dramas). Now Tunku is just revived on its 4th anniversary, and they said they will bring more BL contents (has not specified which types of content just yet) and more information will come. So I think they will still produce some BL dramas, or movies, or even verticals,... and air somewhere, not necessarily on MBS, just like NBCUniversal (often air on FOD/ FujiTV) and LesPros Entertainment (often air on DramaDiVE of ytv, DramaPhil of MBS),... are doing. We will get more information from tomorrow and major release will be around mid June.
