If at all possible. Learn from my experiences and never rent from @turo , ever. Getting hit with a $170 cleaning fee Getting hit with $800 "damages" 24 hours after the rental has been turned in. Then 5 days later get hit with a $170 smoking fee. AVOID! #Turoscam #Fraud #turo

@turo update! Just spoke with my @progressive claims investigator! They found me NOT at fault and are filing a claim with the owner's insurance! From there it may go to a 3rd party arbitration but it's good to know that #ProgressiveInsurance has my back! #turo #turoscam

btw, quick @turo update. They sent me a VIN # explainer (thanks) and noted that despite all the holes I have punched through the owner's argument, they are pushing through with the $5,000 dashboard replacement. My @progressive claims investigator is involved. #turoscam

@turo I am being scammed by your app - people need to know about the dangers of being scammed but your car owners- what are you doing about this? First time users are being taken advantage of and you are doing nothing about it. Anyone else have a #turoscam story?

New @turo update! All of the estimates (including the "in-person") note the exterior color as "Carbonized Gray". Straight from the VIN. Clearly, this vehicle was "Cactus Gray". Car swap anyone? #turo #turoscam

It occurred to me, I got my first press car in October of 2016. Since then I've lost count, I'd say it's in the hundreds. No issues with wear, damage, etc. on any of them. I rent from @turo ONCE and get a $5,000 bill to replace the entire dashboard! #turo #turoscam

@turo riddle me this as a host that pays 30% for insurance coverage, and a guests that pays almost the same vehicle gets damaged ,guest agrees that vehicle got vandalized while in their position. but #turoclaims says no👎. Why do we pay so much for coverage?#turoscam

How did @Turo force me to pay $882 for 6d rental of beaten up 2004 car? Like many of you, I travel lots, tried Turo as "@Airbnb for cars", but pls read how they turned it into an extortionate #TuroScam. Customer svce indifferent to sadistic. RT to prevent other potential victims.
