#PomeriumX #PomeriumXDeepDive

PomeriumX Deep Dive #10 - SB-2PC What is #TwoPhaseCommit? Two Phase Commit is a modified version of the atomic commit protocol that employs a virtual coordinator within the node transaction to guarantee atomicity across multiple distributed databases. This allows the protocol to be designed based on the stakeholder model, which ensures strong consistency. #PomeriumX #PomeriumXDeepDive

#Starbucks Does Not Use #TwoPhaseCommit => Learn why #synchronous (like #HTTP) and #asynchronous communication (like #ApacheKafka) make sense and how they relate to each other... A great article by @ghohpe (from 2004, but still as…https://t.co/FVsgIzdxw3 https://t.co/OAYpyWnyRk
