I want to apologise for not speaking up sooner but I was threatened, gaslit and dumped with no notice. I found out too much and got metaphorically ‘shot for insubordination’. I was literally hung out to dry in the most cruel ruthless way. Had I not got great friends I think I’d have gone mad. You know who you are 🙏
It was hell and I felt bullied, blamed and made to feel stupid by the ‘new team’. For the record I worked for nearly 18mths as a volunteer before you saw me on screen. I just wanted to support the cause. No hidden agenda.
They gave me a computer as a thank you gift for my work as I was only using an iPad but then asked for it back as soon as I was sacked. (Even though it wasn’t working) Then they accused me of withholding it! 😱😡 that was a lie too. I was made to feel ashamed.
There’s a lot more to say and that will emerge over time. I genuinely loved the members and audience but couldn’t cope with the lies, deceit and treatment they got in return. Hence I spoke up and the rest is history. It was all about the members truly.
One day perhaps I and others (I’m not alone) will be allowed to tell my story. That’s if anyone is brave enough to ask me. I’ll probably get threatened for posting this 😱
