We condemn in the strongest terms the attacks carried out by the Yemen’s Houthis against commercial vessels transiting the Red Sea. Such attacks endanger civilian lives, undermine maritime security, and constitute an unacceptable threat to freedom of navigation and international trade. We stand in full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and all those affected and reaffirm our unwavering commitment to upholding international law and ensuring the security of global maritime routes. We call for the immediate cessation of attacks and a return to dialogue and diplomacy to preserve maritime security and keep the Red Sea open, safe and free for international navigation.
