It is now 9 years, yet there is still NO Government-approved Development Plan for Undri–Pisoli. As a result, taxpayers have been denied the most basic civic infrastructure: ❌ PMC water pipeline network ❌ Proper roads & footpaths ❌ Streetlights ❌ Sewage & storm-water networks ❌ Reliable electricity infrastructure ❌ Planned civic amenities A society of just 200 flats spends nearly ₹60 lakh every year on private water tankers because PMC cannot provide a basic water pipeline. How is this acceptable after paying property taxes for years? MSEDCL power failures are another nightmare. Whilst we commend, the initiative of our M.P. @supriya_sule tai, we only hope that this does not remain mere lip service for the 'tax paying citizens' of #Prabhag41. I have been a resident of #Undri since 2005, when we were managed by the #Grampanchayat. I have seen little happen since the early days. All that has happened is #rapidunplannedURBANIZATION that has left us unhappy & sad. As a citizen why are we being deprived of #basics like, good roads, water supply, drainage and basic amenities, worthy of a civilized community. Merely shutting down #RMCplants wont solve our problems. Whilst we see how a lobby of industrialists are able to catch the attention of the 'powers that be' as in the case of #Chakan, why are we a huge community spread over a wide area not receiving attention??? We hope and trust that all those directly or indirectly involved in the area including MP's, MLA's & Corporators (some of whom were part of our Grampanchayat) ensure a site visit of the Administration to the area and see the issues we are facing over 20+ years. Enough of lip service please...time for corrective and decisive action if you wish that people live harmoniously and in a civilized environment.

Broken #SewageChamber Cover Triggers Accident Risk on #Undri Main Road Pune: A broken sewage chamber cover near Maruti Temple at Undri Main Chowk has created a serious accident risk for motorists and pedestrians. The damaged chamber is located along the Undri Main Road and has reportedly already led to minor accidents. A rickshaw recently got stuck in the open chamber, highlighting the danger posed to commuters. The situation has become more hazardous as rainwater accumulates at the spot, making it difficult for motorists to notice the pothole and broken chamber cover.
