So proud that my Dad’s photo from Sheepshead Bay training ship was used to honor the WWII USMM. The #USMSTS stands for United States Maritime Service Training Ship.

@SecElaineChao We also celebrated the World War II Merchant Mariners, who transported tens of millions of tons of war supplies and over 7 million servicemen during the war. Sadly, 1 in 26 mariners lost their lives during WW2. #AmericanMaritimeHeroes https://t.co/MjXEi2WKwH
