I cat remember exactly, but the first time I used maledicta was when i was about 5 or 6 and I flipped my dad off at the breakfast table. I think I’d seen it on TV maybe #UTmaledicta

The first time I used a “bad” word was in 3rd grade when I told my classmate that he was “stupid”. The first time I used a “curse” word was in 4th grade when I said “Fuck” to my teacher after she kicked me out of class. #UTmaledicta

@SLAVAMPIRES the first “curse” words I learned and used were “shut up” and “stupid.” I felt liberated by Black Eyed Peas’s “Shut Up” (lol). First “actual” curse word I used while singing a song line: “Who the fuck wants to die alone all dried up in the desert sun?” #UTmaledicta

@SLAVAMPIRES One of my favorite shows ever created, #Sense8 , has a lot of orgy scenes. But nothing about these scenes make you uncomfortable... the best director/actor can distance themselves from taboo porn to create visual art palatable to the average consumer. #UTmaledicta

@patriotact does a great episode that talks about rap in countries like Turkmenistan and China and the censorship/threats they face for putting out messages that threaten the state (and the propaganda that the state creates in response). Worth watching, I believe. ;) #UTmaledicta

@SLAVAMPIRES I mentioned being surprised that rap/hip-hop was the medium by which people in other countries rallied around when looking for an outlet for frustrations. But then I thought again... when you are living oppressed, you aren’t aloud to be “too vocal.” #UTmaledicta

@SLAVAMPIRES Did a study on US Mil recruiting strategies; Pentagon must approve of any TV show or movie that has US Mil in it. They play an active role in the script. If you don’t portray the mil well, you can’t use any real mil weapons, uniforms, battleships, etc. #UTmaledicta

@SLAVAMPIRES In 2013, with a 5-4 vote, Shelby v. Holder changed a key part of the Voting Rights Act. Because of this, states can now put restrictions on voting (ie require IDs...) without federal approval beforehand. Imagine if Flynt had lost. #UTmaledicta
