Stickies are great for quick communication. What happens when they come down from the War Room? Use simple systems for organizing and documenting the valuable imagery these diagrams create. Shared folders, project channels, etc. @brian_frank #UXCS2018
Don't overthink how to communicate ideas and research results. Stickies, whiteboards, and other visual techniques are just as (if not more) effective than formal research papers (that nobody will ever read). @brian_frank #UXCS2018
It's okay not to know. It's not okay not to care. UX in real life. cc Brian Frank #UXCS2018
Aaaand we're back from lunch at #UXCS2018 to listen to Brian Frank from @ResolutionIM talk about Continuous Discovery: Finding the smallest ways to answer the biggest questions
Some companies are making moves in the right direction around ethically applying psychology in UX. For example, curating content that creates meaningful interactions instead of requiring the maximum amount of time on the app. @JonYablonski #UXCS2018

What about the ethics of psychology in UX? What about designs that exploit our attention? We're able to do it. We can be allowed to do it. But SHOULD we? If the best interest of the user is our primary goal, is exploiting them really in our best interest? @JonYablonski #UXCS2018
Jakob's Law: Users will transfer expectations from a familiar product to the new product. By using existing mental models, we can create better experiences. Allow users to continue using familiar models until they're ready to update. @JonYablonski #UXCS2018
