Language barrier is one of the major challenges that restrict trade across the AfCFTA.I call upon all the concerned governments and stakeholders to unite the people in language to ease trade. For EAC a common language should be adopted to eliminate this hindrance.

Trading within EAC comes with its advantages for example distance is smaller between the buyer and seller,a common language between countries makes doing business much easier. So uganda should take advantage of all that.

Let's try and avoid the barriers that affect international trade such as security risks, boarder issues, among others. We should remove all barriers that are a hindrance to trade.

EAC is one of the blocks talked about to have made progress,but every now and then we see some things that prove that the singular nations are enforcing some policies like BUBU that are tending to push counties to produce for themselves and buy from themselves.

We have to understand what the opportunity is,look at the numbers involved,the increase in our exports and trade with other countries,then we can get to know that this is a very big opportunity that can't be missed.

Ms @Sashanawhyte goes on to add that Agriculture is a major sector for Uganda, so Uganda would need to boost agricultural productivity by promoting the uptake of modern technologies and extension services.

She spoke that Uganda would thus, need to improve its infrastructure, such as the roads which increase transportation costs. There are also issues with standards or the quality of goods that Uganda export that she pointed out.
