Jackson (Gregory Cox) is your run-of-the-mill, hockey mask wearing psychotic killer. Hideously deformed, he spends his time stalking and brutally murdering over-sexed young people, in a variety of nasty methods. But then he meets Shelly (Fiona Evans), a young blind woman who appreciates him as a person (it helps that she can't see the carnage he leaves at every turn). Finding himself falling in love for the first time, Jackson decides that it might be time to finally hang up his cutlery and settle into a happy life of domestic bliss. But can he really overcome his bloodthirsty impulses?
A biting horror-comedy from director Anders Palm and producer Mark Cutforth, UNMASKED PT. 25 (aka HANDS OF DEATH) cleverly plays off of every 80s horror cliche (along with satirizing a number of indie film tropes, for good measure), while reveling in some of the most gruesome gore effects which can be found in a post-nasties British made film. Vinegar Syndrome is proud to rescue this under-seen cult classic and bring it to Blu-ray for the first time.

Currently finishing to watch #unmaskedpart25 aka #handofdeath
So far I’m a fan of the idea behind it but not of the movie itself
My annual #ValentinesDay traditional double header: #UnmaskedPart25 & #MyBloodyValentine (1981). #HorrorMovies #80sHorror
@VinegarSyndrome @Scream_Factory
@80sHorrorDoc As long as you bring up #UnmaskedPart25 from 1988, one of the craziest meta slashers I’ve ever seen.

#Tubi has so many deep horror cuts and low budget goodies I remember from the #videostore aisles.
Now watching: #UnmaskedPart25, AKA #TheHandofDeath.
Imagine Jason took a break from killing to have a charming relationship with a blind woman. Yep

The levels #Unmaskedpart25 works on are:
1. Unofficial F13 sequel
2. F13 parody
3. Self-aware deconstruction of the slasher killer
4. A damn fine slasher film
5. A dry British comedy
6. A werewolf/vampire movie
7. A Shakespearean tragedy
