#UNRATE 1) 5.5Y unemployment rate cycle expected to peak in 2026 and then decline into 2028 low -Can unemployment go higher in 2026 without a recession and smoothly go back lower into 2028 cycle low? It's been above 30M moving average, usually recession is a matter of time. -The long term question is do we have 1 more 5.5Y cycle inside the longer 18-20 year economic cycle. Very much possible.

🔮 5.5Y unemployment #cycle coming off a low and UE rate has nowhere to go but up. This is the 3rd and final 5.5Y cycle inside current 18.6Y economic cycle so will be very violent (Covid was exogenous shock and was very quick). It's been rising steady off secular lows and will continue up throughout 2024. Fed will get "their tools out of toolbox" this year which will push stocks higher but it's too late to save the economy/labor. Economic cycle always wins. Stay safe and prepared.

#UNRATE Unemployment came out 4.1%, which is lower than expected. That was mainly due to the huge increase in part-time jobs. A recession will arrive when even the number of part-time jobs can't hold no more. This is taking much longer than I thought becuz of govt intervention.

These AAPL engulfing candles, see pic, may have called the peak for the day and maybe the $SPY rally peak if $AAPL earnings are not good. Also #unrate needs to be bad for a May market reversal. Remains to be seen but promising here at $5650 $SPX $VIX
