ger lit 10: die forelle by l. fischer (2020, 780 pp.). very austrian novel about a provincial village, but even more so about fishing as counter-culture to careerist attitude. seems to oscillate between humor & philosophy. playful, metaphorical, sprawling language. #untranslated
