Trying to #VCinPublic here — hot off our Q3 exec offsite, @vanzetta_chris introduced Mazí (Greek for "together") for our leaders and their employees to come together quarterly in a conversation focused on last quarter’s performance, the employee’s overall growth and development, and getting super aligned on what's ahead in the current quarter.
We'll also leave space for the employee to share any feedback for the leader that would help them be more successful in their role.
It represents the idea that our employees & leaders must work together, continuously, to help each other grow and develop in our roles. At 776, we believe that "we" > "me," and that for us to do our best work, we have help each other be the best versions of ourselves.
This sort of thing is pretty common for the high-performing startups that we build & invest in, but what are the best ways you've seen VCs create a feedback-focused performance culture?

Most investors lack to think long-term. Here is a very simple math example to show the differences between a 2x, 3x and 4x performance over 3, 5 and 10 decades.
For emerging fund managers & smaller VCs— would it be helpful if I did a “Platform 101” series & published resources as I build them?
So many small VC firms w/ teams of <5 & I imagine we’re all building the same things in silos (portals, trackers, resources, etc)!
