I'm still working on #VectorZ trying to finish this endless polish list.
#Fable 5.1 just cooked very quickly some reloading animations for each weapon in my game. Looking nice.
Next batch of polish will be the last i think before the net code, i'll try to improve ground/roads/buildings textures and the parachute descent. Still runing at 180fps in browser.

Environment & Lighting
- Optimized Foliage: Denser, shorter grass with zero extra draw calls.
- Dynamic Skies: Drifting cloud shadows applied to all materials (almost zero perf cost).
- Lighting Tweaks: Improved emissive bloom (lamps, sirens) and fixed dark building facades.
- Crisper Visuals: Targeted CAS sharpening to highlight characters and gear while fixing foliage flickering.
Combat & Physics
- Gunplay FX: Upgraded muzzle flashes (wall reflections) and realistic indoor shell casing bounces.
- Destruction: Material-specific bullet impacts (wood, metal, brick) with up to 256 lit decals.
- Gore & Explosions: Directional blood splashes, kill pools, and new explosion smoke/ground decals.
Characters & Polish :
- Clothing Overhaul: 12 new optimized outfits, randomized player gear.
- Movement FX: Dynamic dust kicks up from footsteps and tires on dirt/gravel.
The polish list is getting shorter. Taking a breather before diving into the netcode. Hoping to finish this phase this week!

#Fable kinda cooked again for #VectorZ!
Also, thanks to the advice from @blockshooterfps, the lighting and shadow systems are much better. It really added some beauty to the game! You can check out a full gameplay match in this video. The bots still aren't perfectly calibrated, but it genuinely feels like I'm playing a real 3D Battle royal game, right in the browser.

@Graalitoo Please, real global illumination, direct/indirect lighting, diffuse indirect, PBR/material responses, hard/soft shadows cast from sun & emissive point lights, tonemapping/color grading, reflections/specular response, yell that into it! make your game look pretty!
Sorry, I’m not going to release #VectorZ just yet because I really want to finish polishing the game to the highest standard.
#Fable 5.1 is coming along great, with plenty of updates today:
- The map has been reworked; it’s smaller, with less empty space and more points of interest.
- The road system has also been reworked; there are no longer any roads that stop abruptly or lead nowhere.
- Building doors now all open in both directions.
- Camera handling inside buildings has been overhauled and feels much smoother.
- Improved tree LODs, allowing detailed trees to be seen from further away for added realism (while maintaining a steady 180 FPS).
- New animations for bandaging and using medkits.
- New recoil animations for all weapons.
- Visual improvements to projectiles and the addition of muzzle flashes for weapons.
- Addition of .. blood !
And i still have a lot of things that i want to polish before releasing, i still have a lot of GPU/CPU budget available and i want to see how far i can push it visually while maintaining a steady 180fps.

#VectorZ today updates :
- New model for player, equipements & weapons
- Refinement of animations (still some broken)
- Bot finally have some sort of "intelligence", not easy to setup but we finally can have some fun & get killed by them
Next steps are to refine the map, too much empty spaces, try to rework the tree LODS aiming still 180fp, then other minor improvements and we will be able to start writing the net code.

Today's update: Fable 5.1 is continuing to polish everything like a champ, with a little help from me.
All buildings were rebuilt. I originally built them with Fable 5, and I had a lot of problems: bad scaling, buildings being too small, lots of floating props, rooms blocked by props, broken roofs, and many collision issues. Fable 5.1 rebuilt everything, and while there are still a few minor problems, it’s 100 times better now.
180 smooth FPS everywhere (which is my refresh rate limit).
The sound system and sound spatialization were rebuilt. I added new footsteps because the previous ones were horrible. Fable now adjusts the volume of the footsteps relative to the weapon and environmental sounds, and the overall feeling is much better than before.
Next step tomorrow: polish the character models, weapon models, and animations, and give the bots some real intelligence. This will be a huge one, but also very rewarding.
