#VPFAPurity was a roaring success! From @drclaireocall’s immensely impressive keynote, to the myriad of fantastic papers (including those of my friends @MillyKateH & @AdelleLHay), & meeting some truly lovely scholars (shout out to @hannahvipalmer, @H_McKenzie_ and @janetteleaf1).
Completed a brutal drive home from #VPFAPurity thanks to not one but two exploding vehicles on the motorways adding three hours to journey time. Will have to save day 3 highlights until tomorrow.
3.5 hours til the coach home so making the most of the pub that's open, and writing out PhD notes. #VPFAPurity

I’ve had the best time at @VPFA1 #VPFAPurity. Above all, though, I’ve been struck by the sheer generosity of the people I’ve met - sharing ideas, advice and support with kindness and patience. It’s been such a fantastic experience - I’m so thankful to have been a part of it! 💫

Not only was #VPFAPurity brilliant, I am also v grateful for being hybrid. Being from a low income background + having fibromyalgia means that thanks to @VPFA1 I was able to attend much of it. Pls can other conference organisers take note! #AcademicChatter
