@Vrbo @VrboHelp @ChrisElliott Your host is extorting a $600 "hidden fee" not in the checkout total (400% of booking cost) and provided FAKE phone numbers. Your agents are ignoring a clear Bait-and-Switch scam. Case #148662562. HELP ME NOW. #VrboScam #TravelAlert #ConsumerRights

@vrbo @VRBO refuse to accept responsibility when their cancellation policies only serve to benefit themselves and the hosts. They collect penalties from hosts and guests have to rebook more expensive properties. #vrboscam #vrbofraud

@vrbo Another perk of this @vrbo #vrboscam house was the fire alarm going off at all hours of the night. Sirens at night, and unlisted construction during the day - a vacation rentals dream.

I don’t know how many people have used @vrbo. I was scammed for only $100+ thankfully. I don’t want anyone else to fall for it. I secured the reservation months in advance. Near the reservation date, it was cancelled. VRBO refunded their fee; but not deposit. #VRBOScam

@vrbo I had no idea a host could avoid a negative review by taking down the listing, then list AGAIN under another property ID. And y’all appear to be cool with this?!? #scam #vrbo #vrboscam

Do not book with @vrbo unless you want to never see your money. They do not enforce the cancel policies. Lost thousands of $$$ in deposits for bookings canceled way outside the cancel policy. 3 months of fighting and nothing but excuses and being ignored #vrboscam #vrbofail

@vrbo #vrboscam #boycottvrbo as a speaker for the people who are out all the money, do the right thing and get people a credit or a full refund this doesn’t have to be this difficult.

@vrbo unfortunately a global pandemic doesn’t fall in line with your 60 day 100% return and 30day 50% return policy. That’s a fine policy under normal circumstances but if you haven’t noticed global travel bands aren’t normal! Give us our money back you crooks #vrboscam
