@markeburge consecutive councils have been cutting the @ParkBoard budget for years and years. They don't control the PB but they control the $$ for capital projects and until it literally falls apart council won't give them a cent. It's infuriating as I worked on the #vansplash report.

@TatarynMary @CdnChange Having helped with #vansplash with @ParkBoard , the best option is to add a full sized outdoor pool to Hillcrest where facilities can easily be adapted to the additional use and still allow the green space of Mt Pleasant park for everyone to use year round. #vanpoli
@sandyjamesplan perhaps you should read the #vansplash report. We worked long and and hard on it. The recommendation is for a full sized outdoor pool co located at Hillcrest as it has the space for it.
