This is the side of abuse no one wants to talk about. Because it’s harder to see, harder to prove, and easier for services to dismiss. But unseen doesn’t mean unreal. And unacknowledged doesn’t mean harmless. It destroys health. It destroys trust. It destroys children’s sense of safety. And until we start naming all forms of abuse, victims will continue to suffer in silence while perpetrators thrive in plain sight.
