However, Russia has no interest in dispelling concerns because it uses them to extract concessions on other matters.
The #ViennaDocument promotes trust and predictability through openness, transparency and verification measures. Respecting the provisions of the VD is the first step towards de-escalation. #OSCE #Russia #Ukraine

Today at the joint #OSCE PC & FSC mtg called by ๐บ๐ฆ pursuant to #ViennaDocument where ๐ท๐บ once again didnโt show up, ๐ฑ๐ป expressed full support to ๐บ๐ฆ & called for ๐ท๐บ to deescalate.

Once again #Russia has refused to engage with the #OSCE #ViennaDocument process.
By not abiding by the commitments itโs freely signed up to, Russia exposes its lack of interest in dialogue & diplomacy.
We commend #Ukraine's restraint in the face of continued aggression.
The joint Permanent Council & Forum for Security Cooperation mtg has started at the #OSCE in Vienna called by UA๐บ๐ฆ pursuant to #ViennaDocument to demand answers from RU๐ท๐บ on its military buildup.

Continuing close coordination among partners on #Russia - Foreign Minister @ABaerbock spoke with @JY_LeDrian, @TrussLiz and @SecBlinken. The ministers agreed: what matters now is that steps towards de-escalation announced by Russia are actually implemented.
