#WHPSScience We looked at our results to see which drink causes the most damage. We were surpised by the results that orange juice and squash caused the most damage. The children enjoyed laughing at Miss Hawkins when one of the eggs exploded as it had so become weak! #WHPSClass9

In #WHPSEnglish we have started to read our new novel Beowulf. We have read the first 3 chapters and sequenced and summarised the events. We then made predictions of what we think is going to happen next in the story. #WHPSClass9

In #WHPSHistory #WHPSClass9 have started to look at the Romans! Last week we looked at why and when the Romans invaded Britain. This week we learnt why they were successful. We were celts who had spotted the Romans for the first time and had to report back what we had seen!
#WHPSClass9 ended the year with a quiz all about year 4! They even had a photo round of guess the teacher. We had a draw so it had to go to a bonus question!

What a great way to start sports week! The children did amazing in the fun run totaling 356 laps as a class! Then in the afternoon they created their own olympic logos. Well done #WHPSClass9 #WHPSPE
