I welcome this press release. It's time for @ONLFofficial to return to its roots and rebrand as the Western Somali Liberation Front (#WSLF). The #Oromuma regime in #AddisAbaba only understands war and violence. That is the reason #4aad Brigade was created to confront #WSLF and defend #Isacks in the Somali region against Ogaden militia, after Somalia was defeated in 77 war. They made their base the village of #Duriya. The first group comprised of Jibril Abokor/Reer Younis, Muj. Mohamed Ali (AHN) joined them when he and others left WSLF unit when they tried to assissnate him, although he was fighting to liberate them. Later in 1982 they become the first #SNM Mujaahidin unit when Muj. Ahmed Dhagah (AHN), Aden Shine (AHN), and Mohamed Kahin crossed the border into Ethiopia 🇪🇹.

I have seen first hand USSR & East German minutes on Somalia’s 1977 Ogaden War. The Safari Club operatives of the CIA led by Saudi King Khalid, Egyptian President Anwar Saadat & Iran’s Shah Mohamed Reza Pahlavi were instrumental in misleading the Somali leadership about supposed US support for Somalia’s cause & war effort.
Ethiopia was willing to give up upto #Jigjiga and rule jointly in #DireDawa & #Harar as per the brokered agreements of communist bloc but the machinations of the Jimmy Carter’s operatives led by Henry Kissinger who nudged the Somali leaders into continuing the war, promising them support (which never came) and proved disastrous to #Somalia which started its collapse leading to its climax in 1991. Somalia did not fall because of its enemy’s prowess but the conniving ‘friends’.

For those who don’t know the history, the struggle for the occupied #Somalis’ lands was started by #AhmedGurey in 1500s, then #SayidMohamed in 1890s, then #WSLF in 1970s, & then #ONLF in 1984.
It seems now, that Nobel struggle is encountering huge uncertainty & weakening!
