She's pushing through the pain to support her boys in @93Alcatraz - let's #WalkWithApril & give her a boost ๐๐
I have made it to 145 kilometers.
I am one hour away from reaching 150 kilometers and from the supply box waiting for me there. Fresh socks, food, water, and the small things that feel like everything after this many kilometers.
The hardest part is my feet. I am not tired. I still have the strength to keep moving. But every step hurts now.
And every time the pain becomes loud, I think about my soldiers.
I think about what they endure every day. I think about the pain they carry, the lives they have sacrificed, and the brothers we have already lost. I think about every soldier still standing on the front line, not only mine, but every defender of Ukraine.
Then sore feet feel very small.
So I keep walking.
Thank you for following this journey. Thank you for supporting me. Most of all, thank you for standing with my soldiers and reminding them that they are not alone.

Let's keep sending April our best walking wishes - and maybe a donation if you're able?

Before I hit the road again, I needed to take one last photo.
Crossing into Poltava Oblast feels like such a proud milestone. I never believed this walk would be easy, but it has already become more of a journey than I could have imagined.
There have been moments of pain, trial and error, and questioning myself. But there have also been so many moments of connection. Moments spent meeting Ukrainians, hearing their stories, and seeing a road I have traveled countless times since 2022 in an entirely different light.
When you walk, you notice everything. The small businesses, the homes, the fields, the scenery, and the people I somehow never truly saw before, even after traveling this road a thousand times.
Thank you for walking beside me. Thank you for supporting this journey. And most of all, thank you for continuing to stand with my soldiers and with Ukraine.

And April's underway again on her epic trek - not too squishy either thanks to her binbag plan ๐

Good morning from Poltava Oblast.
In a rare moment of clarity last night, I shoved everything I owned into a garbage bag before going to sleep. It may not have looked very sophisticated, but this morning all of my things are dry, and I have saved myself from an entire day of walking with wet clothes and a soaked backpack.
Now I am preparing to walk barefoot through the wet grass until I reach the road, where I can finally put my shoes on.
Sometimes a few minutes of discomfort can save you from an entire day of misery. Out here, the smallest decisions can make the biggest difference.
This morning, I am feeling incredibly grateful. Grateful for every person who takes the time to read my stories, watch my videos, share this journey, donate, and support my soldiers.

Because in the end, that is what every kilometre is for.
I may be the one walking, but I am not doing this alone. Each of you is helping me carry the stories of my soldiers farther than I ever could by myself.
Today, standing here in Poltava Oblast, I feel truly blessed.
Thank you for walking with me.

Wow, that was really moving, hearing about April's encounter... ๐ฅบ Are you following her journey?

I walked for almost seven hours straight to reach this sign.
#Poltava Oblast.
This is not just another marker on the road. It is not just another number of kilometers behind me.
It means I have officially crossed out of Kyiv Oblast and into the next region. One region farther east. One region closer to my home in Donetsk.
Every step is taking me closer to the men I am walking for.
Along the way, I stopped at a cafe and met three soldiers passing through. One of them was beginning his vacation. He asked me if I was working, and I laughed and told him, โNo. Iโm in the military.โ
He sat down beside me.
He told me that he had fought in Bakhmut in 2023. He had been severely injured, but there he was, still smiling. He told me he was proud of me. He called me a hero.
I could not cry in front of him.
How could I let a man who survived Bakhmut see me break over a few words?
So I carried his smile with me. I carried his story down the road. And when I was alone again, I cried.
Thank you, mystery man. You have no idea how much your words carried me today.
And thank you to every person following this journey, sharing my posts, encouraging me on the road, and donating to support my soldiers.

Because this walk has never been only about me reaching Kramatorsk.
It is about the hundreds of men from my battalion who are still on the front lines. Still in the trenches. Still fighting while the positions around them are being destroyed.
They do not get to stop.
They do not get to walk away.
And right now, they need us.
We need to rebuild their positions, replace what has been lost, and give them what they need to continue holding the line.
Please keep following. Please keep sharing. Please donate.
Every step I take is for them.

I have officially made it to the cafe slash tire repair shop on the highway in Panfyly, where I ordered borscht and varenyky.
After walking through the rain, I cannot explain how excited I am for a hot meal before continuing the rest of todayโs journey.
This is the first day since I started walking that I have seen any real cooling weather or water falling from the sky, and right now, I am incredibly grateful for it.
Foreshadowingโฆ
More than anything, I am grateful for every person following this journey, sharing it, supporting my soldiers, and donating to help us rebuild the positions being defended and destroyed at this very moment.
While I am walking, my soldiers are still holding the line. Every donation helps us replace what is being lost and gives the next men going into those positions a better chance of coming home.

Thank you for continuing to walk beside me.
I did not get a very good video of the cafe itself, but if you ever find yourself in Panfyly, it is the only tire repair shop slash cafe on the highway. You cannot miss it.
Added a little review for @mtac_ua ๐
