Today was The Loess Hills #WaterTechFarm Field Day! This is the 1st year for this farm it is owned and operated by Thad Geiger. The goal of this farm is to improve soil and water quality while becoming financially feasibility and also create an education and outreach opportunity!

Great turnout of producers and sponsors for the @kswateroffice #WaterTechFarm field day for three farms located in @EBGMD2.
This is the first year for the Homeland Water Tech Farm. This #WaterTechFarm is also has 2800 acres enrolled in a #WCA with a total savings of 800 acre ft per year. The overall savings under the WCA is 22% of the projected budget and leaving water in the ground for the future.
