An evening of EPIC dockless scooter fails. 1 #waybot that wouldn’t go, 3 #waybots that wouldn’t activate, 1 @BirdRide that was “low on battery” (52%), 1 @limebike that was MIA and 1 that wouldn’t activate. All of that and a LOT of waking. @ggwash

SF seems to hate the dockless scooters. Here, like them or not, they don't seem to have been a problem. Are we (gasp) less ornery? Our sidewalks just wider? Are they deploying more there? https://t.co/XtzfqMA2oF @limebike @BirdRide #waybots

Idea for dock-less bike/scooter sharing: Save users the friction of unlocking/locking bike by leveraging user's phone sensors such as GPS, NFC, and bluetooth to determine when user mounts bike, rides, and un-mounts. Sounds challenging to do right @limebike @ofo_bicycle #waybots
