£37 billion on a Test and Trace scheme that never got off the ground
£65 billion on securing govt bonds given Kwasi Kwarteng’s mini-budget
£90 billion estimated (by Tax Research UK) annual tax gap (mostly due to tax avoidance & evasion)

@DrLucyHenshall @ClareGerada Absolutely. Besides funding there is acute staffing shortage in secondary care as well. Better coordination needed between primary and secondary care with more funding and staff for both. #WeAreOneProfession

We must get away from fighting perceived rival tribes of doctors.
It is not GPs vs Hospital.
There are ways of assessing patients other than GPs going to homes. The consultant domiciliary visit has long gone and for good reason.
