Royal Mail have announced some price increases - the cost of a 1st class stamp will rise from £1.35 to £1.65 from 7th October. 2nd class stamp will stay the same at 85p. So pop in to Trewoon Post Office and stock up on 1st class stamps before the increase! #WeCanHelpWithThat

#PostOfficeScandal One of the most sad & outrageous cases in the @PostOffice ran HSS scheme. I was aware of it and to be harassing a widow straight after his suicide is digusting and inhumane. The figures from the ATM are printed out and entered via Horizon. It is horizon that shows up the discrepancy. Therefore it is part of Horizon, and we know all the other abuse of processes by Post Office staff. There are other cases with a combination of discrepancies including ATM’s and PO have reimbursed those and paid compensation, they have got this so wrong. What did they do for 3 years, to then say no sorry we aren’t paying anything. If this case doesn’t show why every single claim in the HSS needs re-opened and assessed by an independent body then nothing will. I’ve called for a long time including to Nick Read in 2023 that the day will come where every claim is revisited, they should have done it voluntarily. I can only assume someone is pulling the strings on the PO.
