New technologies will usually find harmful/inappropriate uses before beneficial use cases take root. Latest example: Meta VR glasses being used to dox strangers. What is it about engineers that inventors do not mitigate harm while followers rush to do harm? STEM Ed sucks.

Some very sad news for friends and colleagues of @bblfish Henry Story. He passed away suddenly on Tuesday of a heart attack leaving behind a wife, three kids under 9 and a nearly finished thesis. I was his PhD supervisor. He will be sorely missed. RIP Henry. You were quite unique
