#WhereIsTheFriendsHome?

Conversations with Kiarostami

#OneMoviePerDay #movie106 #WhereIstheFriendsHome is a masterpiece for a reason. This #AbbasKiarostami film wins because of the lead characters innocence, brilliant script, beautiful cinematography. Watch it on @mubi
Three movies through in the journey of watching #abbaskiarostami ‘s work and am I in love or what! Started searching for him on Twitter only to realise he departed in 2016 💔 #whereisthefriendshome is such a beautiful film! So glad that @mubiindia has these gems! ❤️
#AbbasKiarostami's #WhereIsTheFriendsHome? is one of the most precious explorations of childhood. Sweet, simple, and yet it almost works like a thriller. Truly adorable film, streaming on @mubiindia.
Journey of Ahmed as he struggles with the simple task of returning his friend's notebook before the night is out.
#WhereIsTheFriendsHome? (1987, Persian), the first installment of #AbbasKiarostami's #Koker trilogy, now streaming on @mubiindia.
It’s so easy to overlook #Kiarostami’s the single choice to shoot sync sound in #WhereIsTheFriendsHome, as this historically radical choice allows for such easy engagement with some of the most incredible #childPerformances; without it the film would just crumble away

#WhereIsTheFriendsHome Pure human kindness, no matter how seemingly big or small, it will always standout, The simplicity of this movie just blew me away. Restrained, watchful and achingly lovely. The genius here is Kiarostami's quiet and watchful style♥️♥️♥️
Just revisited this!

Maybe I've just seen Kiarostami's #TheKokerTrilogy too many times, but that one kid in #Honeyland has a striking resemblance to the boy from #WhereIsTheFriendsHome.
#MiamiFF film, #WhereIsTheFriendsHome, directed by the late Iranian #AbbasKiarostami will be restored in 4K. https://t.co/hN1OEh7Ezy
