Dar port has two functional vessels that are able to make a minimum of three voyages a week.
Dar port has been consistently stable for the last 37 years as a safe route for Ugandan cargo even in difficult times.
A train from Dar es Salaam has about 22 wagons, each wagon carries 2 containers and their capacity is about 40 tonnes each. To be able to transport that much cargo of that capacity on road, you will need over 50 trucks.
